If you’re looking for a wellness retreat, organized or self-led, this is the place. Incredible gardens. A 1,000 year old sacred tree. Yoga and essential oils made on site. Super warm, genuine, and thoughtful owners. They’ve even written 5+ books in wellness, Andean spiritually, and fun stories collected from running this center. Amazing design and architecture respecting local culture. Very environmentally friendly with solar power and composting.

The 25 year old gardens are a cross between the ‘Garden of Eden’ and Jurassic Park.Wilka Tikka’s chefs prepare healing organic gastronomical offerings that will leave you feeling regenerated. I can’t speak highly enough of this family operated sanctuary and would definitely consider returning.
Read on GoogleArriving at Willka Tika is like waking up in the Garden of Eden ... This was my second trip to Peru's spectacular Sacred Valley, and specifically to this magnificent resort. My favorite room is the Willka room. I open my window in the morning and look out onto my little piece of heaven ... if only for my time here ... and smell the Jasmine that grows EVERYWHERE in the clear, crisp air. The staff here is amazing - seriously. The sun pales in comparison to their smiles and warmth as a community. The yoga studios are well designed and overlook various aspects of the chakra gardens. The location is perfect for walking into Urubamba for the day or taking a day trip to P'isaq or the train to Machupicchu. You will not regret making plans to stay in the beautiful resort where you can stroll the 7 Chakra gardens, lay in the green grass under the 1200 year old Ucuma tree or enjoy the delicious vegetarian meals prepared from the organic gardens grown within the walls of the resort. The resort offers a myriad of interactive experiences and relaxing spa services. Return from hiking Machu Picchu and enjoy a relaxing Andean massage or unwind under the stars in a hot solar bath filled with flowers and healing leaves. Take cooking or painting lessons with the staff or enjoy a Sound Healing and Cacao ceremony. You can arrange to partake in an Andean fire ceremony or a sacred Despacho ceremony, and you cannot miss a tour of the gardens by their beautiful visionary, Carol.

The staff is amazing and friendly and will make sure you have everything you need. The owner is a very special woman named Carol who founded the retreat center more than 30 years ago. Her son and daughter in law run the center now along with the help of Verena, who had amazing recommendations and was so helpful with every request. I cannot recommend this place enough! One of the most beautiful and meaningful experiences I have ever had.
