  Phenomenal tour. We did the 6 day Drakensberg Northern Traverse with Patrick the guide. He was professional and very knowledgeable. He was able to change the itinerary as needed when we got stuck in a snowstorm. Patrick the owner was knowledgeable and gave us quality gear to use and organized transport back to JHB. No complaints and highly recommend.

  I've done a few hikes with Soul Adventures now, and every single one has been fantastic!! ​Last week we tackled Tseketseke Pass up to Rolands Cave, and the Drakensberg did not disappoint. The view from Cleft Peak and looking out over the clouds from the cave is something I will never forget. ​Patrick and Kelly are great guides, always keeping us motivated and safe. At night, they sorted out the food and that well-earned coffee after a days hiking. You can always expect some nice chats and good laughs. They are just great company to be on the mountain with. ​Soul Adventures is the only company I'll ever hike the Berg with. I can't wait for the next one!

  Hiking with Patrick and Kelly was epic. From super helpful packing lists to endless laughs along the way, they made the whole experience feel easy, comfortable, and genuinely enjoyable. Having their guidance, the group energy, and even dinner sorted made such a difference and allowed us to fully enjoy the hike without stressing about the small things. Would recommend hiking with Soul Adventures 100 times over!

  I am definitely hiking with these characters again 😅 what a fun experience, they are highly organized and delivered everything promised and Pat makes sure he preps you well ahead of time. I hiked with Soul Adventures during Easter 2026 weekend and they made my hike+camping experience very special, I hired some of my gear and it was great quality. Pat, Cayley and the porters were so kind and taught us some camping skills which was exciting, we shared laughter 😅 and Wow to top it all the Easter egg hunt treat was a lovely surprise that I did not expect and it made me so happy 😅 About the Drakensburg mountains that place is Surreal and at some point it felt like it was AI.

  What an absolutely unforgettable experience! This past weekend I tackled the Tugela Falls hike with Soul Adventures, and I cannot recommend them enough. Our guides, Patrick and Kelly, were nothing short of exceptional — professional, knowledgeable, and yet so incredibly warm that they felt less like guides and more like old friends we had somehow known for years. The hike itself is a journey, but Patrick and Kelly made every step of it a joy. Their easy-going nature and great sense of humour kept the energy high and the laughter flowing, turning what could have been a gruelling trek into one of the most magical adventures I've had. They have this rare ability to put you completely at ease while still keeping everything safe and well-organised. This experience truly left me in awe — both of the breathtaking landscape and of the incredible team that guided us through it. I will absolutely be booking another adventure with Soul Adventures soon. If you're on the fence, just do it. You won't regret it!
