  Everything about Selva Terra was an incredible experience. I attended a pottery retreat week and received wonderful hands-on learning. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and full of flowering/fruiting plants, and amazing wildlife. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel taken care of, and are very friendly and fun. It's truly heaven on earth, I can't wait to come back.

  I just got done leading a yoga retreat here and this place was AMAZING! The rooms have an incredible ocean view, the food was FANTASTIC (my favorite was the tuna poke bowl), they make the best drinks (get the iced coconut latte), the yoga space had stunning views, the beaches are gorgeous, and the staff was INCREDIBLE. We went snorkeling, island hopping, hiking, surfing, and paddle boarding and we did some pottery as well. I have zero complaints and would love to come back here again. I highly recommend this place. 10/10 stars ⭐️

  Beachy birdwatching dream! The atmosphere, staff, and food at Selva Terra are beyond incredible. I was worried the remote location would be hard to get to but transport was seamless, and to be greeted at arrival with a cool towel and a welcome drink really switched my brain into relaxation mode. I felt so cared for as staff remembered our names and made sure we were well nourished. Plus, there was yoga, pottery, great birdwatching, easy beach access, and friendly dogs onsite— what else could you ask for?? I am already planning a trip back! Grateful to the team for creating such a beautiful sanctuary.

  I cannot begin to express my gratitude to everyone at Selva Terra Island Resort. I traveled there for a wellness retreat with a group of yogis from the yoga studio I attend. Everybody at Selva Terra was amazing, kind, helpful, and made sure we all had an amazing and safe experience. The island is beautiful and I loved all the events that were planned. The way everything is designed and maintained on the island shows how intentional thoughtful they are about providing an excellent experience while also keeping in mind and minimizing our impact on the surrounding nature. Not once did it feel like a tourist trap or a money grab. From the moment we stepped off the boat and on to the island I felt as if I was coming home and even meeting new people felt like reconnecting with family. I got to have a few "firsts" while visiting like surfing lessons, kayaking to see the mangroves, a sunset boat tour, and a massage for complete and utter relaxation. The food was phenomenal! There was not a single bad item on the menu. The rooms provided the most beautiful views of the property. Everyone working there new us by name practically instantly! I enjoyed having conversations with the staff as well and sharing and learning about their life experiences. There was a tour of the farms where they grow the produce and along the way there is a step with the words engraved "Welcome to Nature's Paradise". This sums up the experience beautifully. It is indeed a slice of paradise. I was able to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life and reconnect with nature and, more importantly, myself and find peace and relaxation. I will always hold fond memories of my experience there. I absolutely will return again, hopefully not too far in the future.

  Truly one of the most magical places I have ever had the pleasure of visiting! Samantha, the owner, has created such a warm and welcoming experience, and the entire staff was incredible. Bea especially was wonderful and made our stay even more memorable. We travelled as a group, and every one of us felt so special. They were able to accommodate our varied interests and dietary restrictions with such care. The food, activities, and location were all amazing, and the whole vacation felt effortless and unforgettable. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already dreaming about coming back.
