  This place has always such a good vibe. Food is always delicious in the rooms are great for a romantic stay. And I find that there's always really interesting people at the swimming pool. It's especially great for hanging out after Envision Festival.

  We were at Selva Armonia from late afternoon until around midnight for a private event, so my review is only for the uppermost common areas. Selva Armonia is located up high overlooking the Pacific. We were there at sunset and the view is expansive and magnificent. This is not a fancy place, but very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyable. The common area had pools, bar, several places to sit and lounge and some hung nets facing the ocean to lay in and take in the gorgeous vista. We had a modest vegan meal (tacos) provided that was delicious. We (and everyone in the group that we were with had a great time. One cautionary note - the road up to the retreat is not paved, long and periodically rather steep and narrow. You would be well advised to have a 4x4 SUV or the like to make the climb. Having said that, though, it's well worth it.

  I had such a wonderful 3 nights at Selva by myself. I stayed in one of the small Double/Twin rooms with the shared bathroom and it was great for just me. I think it would have been fine with 1 other person, but 3 people might have been tight. It did say "ocean view" but there really was no ocean view from the room, but it didn't matter because there was an ocean view everywhere else on the property. What an amazing place and location! All of the staff - Fransua, Jessica, Ruce, and Valerie took such good care of me! My breakfast and dinner meals were delicious, I loved watching a movie out by the pool on movie night, the sunsets and watching the birds and wildlife were unbelievable, I loved having access to use the yoga shala for myself, staff was responsible and helped me with rides and excursions, and I had an incredible massage there!! Definitely recommend!!!

  We had an unforgettable stay at Selva Armonia. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the atmosphere around the pool and hot tub, surrounded by stunning scenery, was incredibly relaxing. The vegan food was exceptional, and our room (Bungalow 3) stands out as one of the best we’ve ever experienced. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the surrounding nature was nothing short of magical. That said, the drive to the hotel was a bit challenging. It’s a 15-20 minute journey each way from the main road in town, which can feel tedious if you’re making multiple trips for day excursions or meals. However, the effort is undoubtedly worth it for the experience that awaits. A 4x4 vehicle is an absolute must for the drive. Suggestions for improvement: We were surprised there weren’t any cleaning supplies for the yoga mats, which felt a bit unsanitary. Additionally, our room lacked hooks to hang towels for drying—a small detail, but it would have made a difference. Overall, we wholeheartedly recommend Selva Armonia to friends and family—it’s a truly special place!
