What travellers say on Google
These are reviews published on Google, not on Retreat Ledger. We show them because a listing with no first-hand accounts yet still deserves some evidence, but they are not moderated by us and they never affect the Retreat Ledger Score. Google returns at most five, chosen by them, so treat this as a sample rather than the full picture.
And again our Arab guests BAVARIA TRAVEL GROUP choose the Lanserhof- super nice hotel in a fantastic location The magic mountain of health. A medical concept that is really holistic. A wonderful place to feel good and relax! Best regards from Bavaria Travel Group
Read on GoogleOne week of resetting body, mind and soul. The Lanserhof offers the best of all worlds. Enjoying delicious meals while loosing weight, nestled in a gorgeous environment, nature, architecture and interior design forming the most pleasant entity.
Read on GoogleThe Lanserhof concept is a wellness hotel masquerading as a medical retreat. The medical aspect is not only lacking but full of falsehoods/unscientific things. This retreat is NOT WORTH THE MONEY. More detail below 1) I went with a medical issue - I knew there was something wrong with my gut however the doctor was not knowledgeable, refused to refer me to a gastroenterologist, and came with an unconvincing answer at the end of the retreat which I now need to get a second opinion on with my doctor at home. 2) The place sells multiple scientifically debunked & questionable things: craniosacral therapy, foot detox, and food sensitivity tests. 3) They tell you scientifically incorrect things like "drinking while eating is bad for your digestion" There is no doubt the people are very nice (hence 2 stars), they have great (but excruciatingly expensive) physios, personal trainers, and masseuses but it all does not make up for the price. A massage costs ~250 euros for 50 minutes. The only reason to pay that price is if the medical side makes up for it. It doesn't. Find an alternative.
Read on GoogleVery expensive and not worth what you pay-no tooth brush in the room, when we chekced in no one speaks English at all, it took us 2 hours to check in 4 rooms, when you pay €12,000 for 7 days you expect very high level and personalized service level
Read on GoogleBreakfast: goat yoghurt, lunch: goat yoghurt, dinner: goat yoghurt - not flexible program. I think there are much better detox spa and for much less price. I don’t think that the amount paid deserve the service you require. Staff is not friendly, service is weak, attitude of the staff is not very welcoming.
