These are reviews published on Google, not on Retreat Ledger. We show them because a listing with no first-hand accounts yet still deserves some evidence, but they are not moderated by us and they never affect the Retreat Ledger Score. Euphoria Retreat is hands down one of the most special places I’ve ever visited. The scenery at the foot of the Mystras mountains is breathtaking and instantly calms your mind. The highlight for me was the spa—the Sphere Pool is a unique, out-of-world experience that you have to feel to believe. Every detail of the design and the energy of the place made me feel completely renewed. It’s more than just a stay; it’s a gift to yourself. I can’t wait to go back!

We booked a room at this hotel with my girlfriend a few months before the actual reservation. We wanted to try a more relaxing winter holiday and for this reason, we decided to come in mid December. You could tell this is a different experience from the moment we arrived. They told us that they will bring the car inside and the luggage to our room. Their manners were excellent. They gave us the superior deluxe room which had a great view of the hotel and of Sparti. We tried the indoor and the outdoor pool along with the sauna, the shower with oils, the heated benches, the cold jacuzzi, the cold and hot treatment for the feet and the icy shower and they were all excellent. The best experience was probably diving in the pool and listening to music and the dolphins sounds. We were a bit sad because the hot jacuzzi and the hamam were closed for construction. The service was kind enough though to give us an extra treatment worth 100 euros to remedy us. The breakfast as just enough so you don't feel heavy afterwards and really delicious and traditional. We walked in the forest with a member of the staff too as part od the activities and it was amazing. I highly recommend this experience.

We recently stayed at Euphoria Retreat in Mystras and while the property itself is beautiful, the overall experience was inconsistent. As a Hilton Gold member, I expected at least a warm acknowledgment of status. When we arrived and I asked about the chance of an upgrade given our status, I was told there were no available rooms at all and that's not possible as it's subject to availability. After checking the website myself and pointing out lots of availability in multiple rooms, only then did reception "double-check" and suddenly find one. To make it up, were told a very strange story that it was meant for a single traveler that had just canceled. This left me feeling more uncomfortable than recognized. The hiking activities were definitely a highlight - Nikos was excellent and very knowledgeable of the area. However, when asking for more details about the on-site hiking routes, reception had no clue about even the basic information printed on their own map. In general, we relied more on our own research to find great nearby activities like local chestnut festivals. Breakfast was great, while dinner was extremely average. The waiters were friendly and fun, which helped balance things out. The parking staff were also extremely kind and and multiple times charged our car which was genuinely appreciated. We tried a yoga class that was fairly disappointing. The instructor arrived late - which is totally fine, we are there to relax - however without a shoe box or guidance, everyone kept walking across the floor we would later lie down on with their outdoor shoes. She also never asked if anyone had any health concerns or injuries, which is a very basic expectation from a first-time yoga session in a wellness resort. Additionally, the toilets in every area I used had a design flaw: the flushes caused water to spill onto the floor and even the toilet seat, with the lid closed. Not acceptable from a hygiene perspective in any hotel, let alone a 5-star wellness retreat. The spa itself is stunning, a really magical space, but once again, the staff at the spa reception seemed very unwilling to guide us, as though we should already know how everything worked rather than offering welcoming and proactive help. Overall, the facilities absolutely reflect a 5-star property, but the service often did not. Having stayed at multiple wellness resorts (e.g., Adler), we didn’t feel the same relaxing, seamless experience here that is typically promised in this category. We did enjoy the beautiful surroundings and relaxed thanks to the trips outside the hotel - but the hotel itself has some distance to go before it truly delivers the wellness atmosphere it advertises.
