These are reviews published on Google, not on Retreat Ledger. We stayed here overnight in a room with a shared bathroom. The room came with a sink and baseboard heaters but no AC (not necessary since it was so cold in June). The sink didn’t turn off all the way and dripped all night. The shared bathroom didn’t flush all the way and smelled of urine. The bed and sheets were comfortable at least. The shower had good water pressure but the floor was dirty. The hot spring pools were not too crowded and easily accessible from the rooms. Overall a comfortable stay if you’re okay with the older rooms. Unfortunately we arrived too late to have dinner at their renowned restaurant.

So this was a recommendation from a friend, who highlighted that they have recently done renovations and that they worked really hard to keep it clean and enjoyable. We went and we had a great time. The pools were warm, and there was plenty of space despite the fact there was a lot of people in there. There are a lot of kids present so if you’re looking for an adult environment, this is probably not the one for you. But it was a good hot spring at an unbelievable price. We got a day pass two of us with three towels for $35. Which I’m not even sure in our hometown we could get into a pool with both of us for that. Wheelchair access: there is a ramp that goes right through the the poolside grill and snakes down and around to the pool. the biggest barriers to access we found were people leaving their stuff in the way. But that is everywhere. The facility is actually remarkably wheelchair accessible. There is no wheelchair lift into the pools so you will have to be able to either transfer to The deck and into the water or go down the stairs. The stairs do have handrails, although they end before the last step, and enter into very shallow water (less than 2 feet deep). We would love to come back and stay the night.

This was our first trip to Montana and I'm glad my wife booked our stay here. The staff were very friendly and extremely accommodating. Its relatively close to Yellowstone National Park (about 30 minutes, dont worry the views make it seem like 5 minutes) so it was easy to go to the park and reenter whenever we wanted to. We enjoyed horseback riding and my wife enjoyed the spa. The saloon was fun and the hotel restaurant was superb. Definitely recommend.

Had a short but wonderful stay at Chico Hot Springs last week. We were on a two day tour through Yellowstone and the tour company suggested Chico for the overnight stay. We were not disappointed. We arrived later in the evening and the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. The main dining room is where we chose to have dinner, the food was amazing, and we topped it off with Chico's famous flaming orange dessert. Dining staff were exceptional and everything was prompt. Other members of the tour had dinner at the adjoining Saloon and said the food was great there too. The main house was were our two double bed room was located. Beds were comfortable and room was spacious. Originally established in the 1900's the lobby has tons of photos and historical antiques to investigate. Unfortunately, the hot springs themselves were under repair and unavailable to us, so unable to comment on those. Would definitely come back.

Local to about 2 hours from here. This is the best hotel experience I have ever had, for a very reasonable price. Upscale food offerings, and exceptional employees made the rather bare hotel room (historic, with only a sink) more than worth it. The Sunday breakfast buffet is not to miss (in the dining room). Main lodge was fun to explore and stay in, with various bathrooms and showers on each floor. Having just visited the pool before ($14), I would say do yourself a favor and get a room, you will not be disappointed. Weekends are crowded.
